The guides and pages

The guides are free to read, and so is everything else on the site. The text, examples, diagrams and images are © Mike Salari. You may read them, save them for your own preparation, and share links to them.

Quoting a short passage with a link back to the page is welcome. Republishing a guide in full or in large parts, here or in a course, a book, a newsletter or a training data set, needs written permission first.

Code examples in the guides are there to explain a point in an interview. You may use them in your own work, at your own risk: they are written for clarity, not tested for your production code.

Books, practice and links to other sites

The books shown on this site are Mike's own. They are sold and delivered by Gumroad; the purchase, delivery and any refund follow Gumroad's terms and the terms stated on the product page there. Prices shown here are checked against Gumroad, but the price at checkout is the one that applies.

Interview Runtime (interviewruntime.com) and salari.dev are run by the same author and have their own terms. Links to them, and to Gumroad, carry tags that tell those sites the visit came from here. The site does not carry paid placements or third-party affiliate links: when it recommends a book, it is one of the author's own, and the site says so.

Guides link to official documentation and other sources outside the site. Those sites are not controlled here, and a link is not an endorsement of everything on them.

No guarantee of outcome

The material is preparation, not a prediction. Interview loops differ by company and by interviewer, and nothing on this site promises an offer, a level, a pass or a result. Descriptions of what a round scores are the common shape of senior loops, not a statement about any one employer.

Accuracy

Guides are written with care and corrected when a mistake is confirmed, but platforms and APIs change. The site is provided as it is, without warranties, and to the extent the law allows the author is not liable for losses from using it. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.

Fair use of the site

Do not try to disrupt the site, get around its protections, or load it in a way that degrades it for other readers. Reading it with ordinary tools, including assistive technology and reader modes, is always fine.
